Article 14 (2) (h) of the RRFSO states:
Emergency routes and exits requiring illumination must be provided with emergency lighting of adequate intensity in the case of failure of their normal lighting.
There are number of minimum inspections and tests which are required to be carried out , including an annual test for the full rated duration of the emergency lights (eg 3 hours)
To support your business in complying with this legislation our team can design, supply, and install all your emergency lighting requirements, as well as maintaining and servicing them for your peace of mind.
At Firelec Controls we will always strive to find the most cost effective solutions and to minimise disruption for your business. For example as a cost saving initiative for many of our customers we often carry out the emergency lighting drain test alongside their fire service. This makes full use of time on site and allows us to pass on a practical saving.
