Tricycle Theatre, Kilburn

Project Description

Firelec have now completed the installation of the new fire alarm system at Tricycle Theatre. This was a complex fire project with a site specific set of challenges as the project combined the existing building as well as incorporating the new theatre. We installed an Advanced MxPro 5 system with a networked repeater panel for the security control room. The cause and effect was developed alongside the client as the project progressed to provide time delays and 2 different modes of operation; performance mode and day mode. The system is also linked to fire shutters, access control, smoke ventilation, mechanical plant and has off site monitoring.

Throughout the project we maintained a great relationship with the client and delivered the project on time so the theatre could open on the date pre-planned. Following the success of this project Firelec have since been awarded the service contract for the new system and continue to provide ongoing maintenance and support for the end user.
