Project Description

Firelec have now completed the installation of the new fire alarm system at Sugar Quay in London. We designed an L5 category system in line with the buildings specific needs and fire strategy. The building has 13 levels of various uses including residential and retail. We installed an addressable MX4400 system utilising the powerful cause and effect programming available to interface with the smoke vents, sprinklers, building management system and the lifts. We also incorporated a stay put policy for the upper residential floors and installed cabling to each retail unit ready for future expansion when the new tenants move in. Throughout the project we maintained a great relationship with the client and delivered the project on time. Following the success of this project Firelec have since been awarded the service contract for the new system and continue to provide ongoing maintenance and support for the end user.
