Loughborough University
Project Year: 2015 Project Duration: 6 Months Project Type: Fire Safety SystemsProject Description
Firelec have recently completed the installation of the fire alarm system at Loughborough University in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.
The fire alarm system is fully addressable with numerous aspiration panels covering the high level areas and lecture theatre. It’s also interfaced to a deaf-alerter system with vibrating pagers to alert any occupants in the event of a fire that may be hard of hearing.
The 6 month program started in October 2015 and was completed on schedule in March 2016. The pictures show the site in the final week before the students arrived.
Following the success of this project Firelec have been awarded further projects at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, due to start this month.
