Firelec have recently completed the installation of the Fire Alarm, Voice Alarm, CCTV and Access Control systems at Here East Innovation Centre located in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London.
The fire alarm system is a fully addressable Kentec network integrated with a Baldwin Boxall Voice Alarm system to control a phased evacuation plan with the floors above. It’s interfaced with numerous aspiration panels with over 400 metres of pipework covering the high level areas and event spaces. The system is also interfaced with the access control system, the lifts, various plant and automatically shuts down the music system, in the event of a fire.
The CCTV system installed is full IP consisting of 25x 4MP cameras viewing general coverage of the building. It is linked to a central monitoring station which is monitored 24/7 365 days a year. Working with their IT department the CCTV is networked so the cameras can be viewed remotely.
The access control system is fully networked controlled from a central location consisting of 15 doors securing the perimeter of the Innovation Centre.
The 7 month program started in December 2016 and was completed on schedule in June 2017.
